There was much excitement in the air as Hillsboro Middle School Students took to the hills on Tuesday, February 7th to celebrate a quarter of positive behavior choices.
Sixth, seventh, and eighth graders traveled to Ft. McCoy’s Whitetail Ridge Ski Area for a day of skiing, snowboarding, and tubing.
Students were smiling, laughing, and enjoying the good, clean fun to be had in the great outdoors with their friends. Some also learned to ski or snowboard for the first time.
To be eligible for the trip, students worked to have no missing assignments, no more than three lunch detentions, and no in-school or out-of-school suspensions.
