Eight Hillsboro High School students, veterans of February's regional competitions, recently competed at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Green Bay. Having secured top-three finishes at regionals, they arrived with high hopes for their final rankings.
Along with the thrill of vying for top honors in their respective events, students participated in workshops, honing professional skills and forging connections with like-minded peers. Finally, they were able to their votes for the new State Officers.
Peyton Sullivan and Savannah Pooley had stellar performances on Monday, which propelled them into the elite group of top-eight finalists in their event, Social Media Strategies. The following morning, they returned and placed fifth at the state level, earning each alternate status for FBLA Nationals.
Congratulations to all for their dedication and showing at State.
