Our teachers are hard at work this summer attending professional development trainings to provide the best education and opportunities for our amazing Tigers! Jennifer Gibbons is attending a 5-day AP Computer Science Principles course training at Marquette University hosted by Code.org. She received a generous $2,500 scholarship from them in order to participate in this amazing opportunity! This training is part of the preparation needed to teach the AP Computer Science Principles course which will be offered for the first time this fall. #HSDGoTigers will learn how the internet represents and transmits digital information, explore the fundamentals of programming, big data, data security, and build apps to solve real-world problems. We are extremely excited to be offering this course this fall and can't wait to get started!

Can you believe it is that time of year already?! Our Back-to-School Night is just over a month away! The Elementary and MS/HS will be having their back to school night on 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟒-𝟔:𝟑𝟎 𝐩𝐦. Sixth grade orientation will be held that same day at 6 pm and ninth grade orientation will be at 7 pm. We can't wait to see everyone! #HSDGoTigers

It's that time of year again...getting ready for the tractor pull!! K & K Furniture in Richland Center is donating 4 recliners this year along with a chair side stand. There are 2 choices in chair colors and 5 choices in stand colors. Four sessions, four chances to win! Tickets are available in the Hillsboro High School Office - $5/book of 5 tickets. Proceeds from these ticket sales will benefit Hillsboro Schools (Cross Country, Football and Volleyball).
